Hi, I'm CJ.
I'm the person you'll actually talk to when you call Above the Wire, not a dispatcher, not a script, just the technician who shows up or logs in and fixes the problem.
I've spent 25+ years as an IT generalist: everything from repairing home computers and untangling home networks to building out reporting systems and imaging standards for multi-location businesses. Above the Wire is where I bring that same range directly to homes and small businesses in Port St. Lucie, without a help desk or a queue in between.
Above the Wire is a registered fictitious name (DBA) of X42 Core, Inc., the consulting company I've run since 2005 doing contract IT work alongside full-time technical roles. If you see X42 Core on an invoice or agreement, that's the same business behind this site.
